WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
This first aid and emergency response workshop for older kids teaches basic life-saving skills. This helps prepare them as they start to become a bit more socially independant and start to do things on thier own or in the company of thier peers.
Delivered in an age appropriate and entertaining manner by our experienced and qualified trainers.
- Who is an emergency contact
- When to call emergency services
- How to help when someone is hurt or sick
- Practical activities including:
- Identifying injuries type with pictures of real injuries (we promise not to use the really gory ones)
- Treating Fake wounds ( Bruises, Cuts, Burns and Bites )
- Managing an unconcious person
- CPR
- Emergency awareness and risk assessment
Parents are welcome to stay, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and view from our observation area. Who knows, you may learn something too !
All of our team members hold a current Working With Children Check and Excite Safety is a registered Child safe organisation.
You will need to complete a parental consent form as part of your child's enrolment.
